I am 31 years old.

I am a freelance web designer.

I recently qualified as a CIW Professional as part of a career change to get me out of the Travel Industry and start a job I love, rather than battle on doing a job "that pays the bills".

An industry standard qualification gave me a solid grounding in producing standards compliant code. I regularly check the W3C's web site (www.w3.org) for the latest updates in the fast moving world of The Web. Standards compliant code is important for the future of the web and your site's place on it. With standards compliant code behind a web site it is more accessible, scalable and future-proof.
